Adrian Rosser

August 29, 1935 — June 22, 2018

Adrian Kent Rosser, 82 of Bloomington, affectionately known as "Buzz" to all who knew him, passed from this life on Friday, June 22, 2018 in Wharton, Texas.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia, Texas with Bro. Kenneth James officiating. A reception will follow at Gusher Inn, 508 E. Bernard, West Columbia.
Burial will be Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Ira Cemetery with services at the Ira Baptist Church, Hwy 350 Ira, Texas 79527, with the Chaplain, Nathan Hines officiating.
Buzz was born on August 29, 1935, in El Dorado, Oklahoma to L. D. and Ida (Weems) Rosser. He graduated high school in Ira, Texas and served four years in the Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. Afterwards he moved his family to Bloomington, Texas and went to work as a pipefitter for Alcoa in Point Comfort, retiring in 1997. Buzz was a loving husband, father, Papa and brother. He treasured his wife, sons and grandchildren. He also had a great love of music and was seen on many weekends in community centers picking his guitar or fiddle and singing with friends.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jo Ann (Coan) Rosser; sons, Steven Rosser and wife, Millie, Chris Rosser and Michael Rosser; grandchildren, Jeff Cavinder, Paula (Bob) Atherton, Lindsey (David) Riggs, Allyson and Hailey Rosser; great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Robert, Tiarra, Gareth, Alanna, Bradyn, Abigail, and Charlie; great-great-granddaughter, Preslie; brothers, Duane Rosser and wife, Debbie, Lyle Rosser and wife, Janet, Dennis Rosser and wife, Sandra, and Lee Rosser and wife, Vicky; sisters, Shirley Hume and husband, Bob, Beverly Thomas and husband, John, and Sherry Hornbrook; along with many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister and her husband, Rowena and Joe Williams; and brother-in-law, Bill Hornbrook.
Honorary pallbearers are nephews, Mike Williams and Isaac Rosser; and niece, Charlene Rosser.
