Allen Ramdohr

Allen Dale Ramdohr, a child of God, from Damon, Texas passed away at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Thursday, September 22, 2016 at the age of 56. He was born March 7, 1960 in Bay City, Texas to Otto John and Frances Elizabeth (Oakes) Ramdohr. He owned his own trucking business, R&R Trucking for some time then for numerous years he was a driver for different companies. He enjoyed barbecuing; playing guitar; fishing, giving his sisters a hard time and therapeutic coloring books of motorcycles and trucks.

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Wednesday at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia with Wayne Catoe officiating. Burial will follow at Damon Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm also at Baker Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Hall, Bryan White, Dustin Mariam, D.J. Scoggins, Jeffrey Ferguson and Brandon Dilleshaw.

Allen is survived by his wife, Cindy Ramdohr of Damon; sons, James Ramdohr and wife, Ashley of Baytown; Dustin Mariam and wife, Shelley of Angleton; and Edward Scoggins "DJ" of West Columbia; daughters, Heather Mariam of Orange; Shaylynn Jones and husband, John of Sweeny; Amy Ramdohr and Brandy Mae of Crawford; Misty Mariam of Brazoria and Brandi Ramdohr of Leona; mother, Frances Ramdohr Chavers; brother, Paul Chavers and wife, Terry of Algoa; sisters, Teresa Arriola and husband, Vance of Bowman, GA; Debbie Williams of Houston and Lisa Dilleshaw and husband, Charles of Danbury; 16 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Otto Ramdohr.
