Anna (Annie) Bosarge

Anna (Annie) Hanner Bosarge, 81, of Sweeny, Tx., passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021, at St. Lukes Hospital in Lake Jackson, Tx. Annie was born June 28, 1940, in Gilmer, Tx to Nettie Mae (Gilbreath) and Leroy Charles Hanner. She attended school in Clute, Tx.

She met the love of her life Clarence Bosarge while in school in Clute, Tx. They were married July 4, 1955, in Clute, Tx.

She was the mother of five children Debra Adams and husband Thomas, Clarence Bosarge, Jr and wife Lauri, Billy Bosarge and wife Jennifer, Brenda Cox and husband Derrell and Rodney Bosarge; 17 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.

Annie was a pastor’s wife for 44 years. Most recently, she served the Lord at Trinity Pentecostal Church of God in Sweeny, Tx. She enjoyed gardening and mostly taking care of her family.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 9, 2021, in the chapel of C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 10:00 a.m. with Bro. Roy Carrico officiating. Interment will follow in Angleton Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Everette Holmes, Josh Bosarge, Logan Bosarge, Donnie Bosarge, Curtiss Berry and Clyde Ferguson.

A reception will follow at Trinity Pentecostal Church of God in Sweeny, Tx., 311 N. Oak, Sweeny, Texas.
