Barbara Boening

Barbara Ann Boening, 76, formerly of Sweeny, passed from this life on May 8, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in Akron, Ohio on Jan. 5, 1943 to Wilbur G. Frazier Sr. and Fay E. Frazier.

She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church of Sweeny where she taught Sunday School and VBS for many years, and also was a member of the St. Luke Alter Guild, Lutheran Women's Missionary League, and St. Luke's Choir.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Sweeny Cemetery at 10:00 am with Pastor Ed Boineau officiating. A visitation will be held on Monday, May 20, 2019 at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Chad Allen Boening; brother, Wilbur G. Frazier Jr. & wife, Pat ; sisters, Darnell Collier & husband, John and Teresa Frese; nephews, James C. Frese, J D Mitchell & wife, Marga Bailey Mitchell, children, Ronin and Raedyn; niece, Sara Domine & husband, Joe and children, Nicholas and Olivia, Kathryn Fay Blasco Soler & husband, Paul.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred John Boening Jr.; son, Frederick John Boening II; sister, Brenda Mitchell.
