Brenda Jean French

Brenda Jean French, 74, of West Columbia, passed into the arms of the Lord on March 28, 2024. She was born in Bay City, Texas, on March 19, 1950, to Ernest French and Edna Faye French.

When she wasn’t spending time with her family or cooking a delicious meal, you could find her sewing works of art. She was a seamstress for most of her life and expressed her creative side with every stitch she made.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Edna French, her son Barrett Ringgold, her brother Bubba, and her sister Debbie.

She is survived by her children Wyatt (Jennifer), Brenna, Brandon, Jim (Erika), her brother Wayne, grandchildren Gyntry Ringgold, Lyndley Ringgold, Jenna Ringgold, Coby Ringgold, Leah Bertram, and Kaden Bertram, numerous family members, friends, and her sister, Mary.

Family and friends are invited to her burial on April 2, 2024, at Cedar Lawn Haven of Rest in West Columbia, Texas, at 4:00 pm.
