Carl Eugene Langston, 66, of Houma, Louisiana, passed away surrounded by his loving family on January 8, 2024. He was born in Corrigan, Texas to Bert Milton Langston and Ella Jean Langston.
Carl's career as a welder was more than just a job to him; it was a true passion. With exceptional skill and dedication, he spent many years honing his craft and leaving behind a lasting impact. His craftsmanship was evident in every project he worked on, and his attention to detail was always admired by his colleagues.
Beyond his professional life, Carl had many hobbies and interests that brought him joy. He often sought the thrill of gambling, finding excitement and camaraderie amongst friends at the casino. When he wasn't testing his luck at the tables, Carl enjoyed fishing as a way to relax and connect with nature.
In addition to his hobbies, Carl had two beloved companions who brought great joy to his life: Berta and Wylie, his cherished dogs. Their loyalty and unwavering companionship provided comfort during difficult times.
Carl is survived by his mother Ella Jean Davidson Langston and sister Lynda (David) of Brazoria.
Carl is preceded in death by his father, Bert Milton Langston – who was his fishing and garage sale partner.
Services and interment will be held privately at a later date per the family.
