Charles Hagen, Sr.

Charles Martin Hagen, Sr. 83 of Brazoria, Texas passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 2, 2016. He was born August 30, 1933 in Gonzales, Texas to Melvin Martin and Beatrice (Graves) Hagen. He was an Operator for Dow Chemical Company for 33 years; served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict and served on the USS Iowa.

The Family will host a visitation at Baker Funeral Home in Brazoria from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Friday, November 4, 2016. A private family funeral service on Saturday, November 5, 2016 will be held. Burial will be at Brazoria Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Tielke, Chase Whitt, Caleb Hagen, Matthew Hagen, Bill Kirkpatrick and Butch Thornton.

Charles is survived by his wife, Eunice Hagen of Brazoria; son, Charles Hagen, Jr and wife, Shelly of Brazoria; daughters, Karen Whitt and husband, Scott of Brazoria; Darlene Tielke and husband, Jody of Lake Jackson; grandchildren, Joshua, Chase, Lacey, McCall, Caleb and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Hagen, Kyndell and Corbin; sisters, Juanita Tilotta of Houston, Wanda Jean Hagen of Houston and Diana Moore and husband, Bobby of Willis along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Methodist Hospital Staff for their care.
