Cindy Watkins
We regretfully announce the passing of Cinthia A. Watkins of West Columbia, she left us on March 25, 2024, at the young age of 70. Cindy was surrounded by her family and passed peacefully.
Cindy, loving and dedicated mother to a family of 4 (+ the ‘adopted’ extended friend family of neighborhood friends), was brought into this world on February 17, 1954, to Kenneth Baker and Katherine Baker-Brown.
When Cindy had the first of her four children, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Cindy excelled at propping up members of her family and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. Whether that was helping her husband through a gardening adventure or children through a new skill, she made it her mission to improve the lives of others, not just her relatives. Cindy was a passionate cook and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found in a book or fishing with her family. We will miss her tremendously.
Cindy was predeceased by Kenneth Baker, Kathy Brown, and George Watkins. She leaves behind children Lynn, David, Larry, and Sarah. A wonderful collection of grand and great grandchildren, extended family, countless friends and lives she touched along the way. Anyone that knew Mrs. Cindy, you are in our prayers.
A memorial service will be held at the West Columbia Civic Center 512 E Brazos Ave, West Columbia, TX 77486 on April 21, 2024, at 12:00pm.
