Daniel Coppedge

Danny Coppedge, age 65, of Brazoria, Texas passed away on August 25, 2021, at his home. Danny was born on March 31, 1956, to Tom and Laura Coppedage in Weatherford, Texas. He attended McMallum High School in Austin, Texas and then attended Southwest Texas State University and received his teaching degree. He moved to Brazoria, Texas and was a Middle School Industrial Arts Teacher. Danny was survived by sister, Pat McDaniel, Paula Cunkelman, Louann Goode and his brother David Coppedge.

Danny was a member and very involved in the First Baptist Church of Brazoria. He loved being a part of the Passion Play and working with the Backpack Buddy program. He also collected Boy Scout Memorabilia and enjoyed being a part of the Corvette Club and showing off his Corvette. Danny had a beautiful dog named Sandy that was a wonderful companion for him.

The family would like to thank the members of the First Baptist Church of Brazoria for their help and support of Danny. Ralph and Donna Edwards became a great support for Danny and for his dog and the family is very thankful for their help.

Danny's funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Brazoria, 101 San Bernard St. Brazoria, TX at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Pastor Greg Smith will conduct the services.
