David Conrad, Sr.

David Conrad, of Victoria, Texas, passed from this life on Monday, December 31, 2018 at the age of 89. He was born on September 1, 1929 near Buchanan, Missouri to John and Margaret Conrad. He was a Korean veteran and had a career in sales and service with two worldwide companies.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, January 4, 2019 at Cedar Lawn Haven of Rest in West Columbia with BJ McCurdy officiating. The family will be receiving friends on Friday from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia.

David is survived by his daughters, Cheryl Kay Elliott and husband, Jeff, and Linda Darlene Brooks, and husband, Orlo (Sonny); son, David Conrad, Jr.; grandchildren, Jeffery Elliott, Krystal Hurst, and Shelby Conrad; great-grandchildren, Devon Elliott, Isaac Hurst, Kaaryn Thibodeaux, Kylie Daniel Hurst, Aiden Elliott, and Willow Stone; along with sister, Judy Dodd of Columbia, Missouri.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Fern Conrad; father, John Martin Conrad; and mother, Margaret Conrad; brothers, Paul, Walter, Elmer, and Edward Conrad; sister, Ruth Polete; and grandchild, Danielle Conrad Thibodeaux.
