Diane Kitchen

Diane Arnt Kitchen, 65, of West Columbia passed from this life on July 3, 2015 in Houston. She was born in Houston to parents James & Evelyn Arnt on Nov. 22, 1949. Diane attended school in Angleton and graduated from Sam Houston State University. She spent her career as librarian for Columbia-Brazoria I S D. She passed peacefully after a blessed 12 year remission from cancer. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 11:00 am at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia with Pastor Ryan Lintelman officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Baker Funeral Home. Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Nancy Arnt of Sugar Land; brothers, Richard Arnt of West Columbia and James Arnt of Trinidad, Colorado; nieces, Karen Arnt, Sheila Kowalewski, & Tiffany Giddions; nephews, John Blanchette and James A. Arnt II; and Step Son, Allen Kitchen. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, George Kitchen. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made in Diane's name to the Brazoria County C A S A.
