Donald Danford

Donald Wayne Danford, 80 of Brazoria, Texas passed away at his home on Monday, November 30, 2015. He was born June 12, 1935 in Wharton, Texas to Pete and Leona (Morgan) Danford. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was an operator for Dow Chemical.

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Thursday, December 3, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Brazoria with Pastor Greg Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Columbia Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Baker Funeral Home in Brazoria.

Serving as pallbearers will be Coy Bridwell, Thomas Danford, Dewayne McKnight, Clinton McKnight, Terry Nowicki, Clint Sims and Brian Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Danford, Leroy Danford, Robert Danford and Lewis Bridwell.

Donald is survived by his son, Prentice Danford of Garland, Texas; daughter, Penny Danford of Wild Peach; grandchild, Tiffany Danford and great-grandchild, Pearl Shelton; brothers, Bobby Danford, Leroy Danford and wife, Martha and Robert Danford and wife, Lela; sisters, Betty Scott and Darla Mata.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Floriene Danford and his parents.
