Doris Adams

Doris Mae Adams, 74 of Brazoria, Texas was born on July 17, 1942 in Checotah, Oklahoma and passed from this life on November 29, 2016 in the arms of her faithful husband of 59 years.

Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Monday, December 5, 2016 at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia with Holly Stone and Thomas Lester officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00am until service time on Monday before the services. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jamie, Jeremy, Chris, Cody, Kevin and Terry.

In 1957 Doris married James William Adams and together they had four children; daughter, Diane and Billy Terrell; sons, Jim and Kim Adams, Lee and Missy Adams and Jerry and Pam Adams; 8 grandchildren, Jamie Perry, Jeremy Perry, Amanda Adams, Chris Adams, Lea Kay Brown, Kevin Adams, Tiffany Knightstep and Cody Adams; 4 great-grandchildren, Hanna Perry, Haven Perry, Brooklyn Stone, and Aiden Brown; 3 sisters, Imogene Gibson, Mary Lou Burkalow and Debbie Dodge;2 brothers, James Smallwood, and Tommy Smallwood along with a host of friends and loved ones that cherished and admired her legacy of love and faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alva and Lily Smallwood, and her 3 brothers, Coy, Ronnie and Randy Smallwood.
