Dorothy Mikeska

Dorothy "Jackie" Mikeska, 72, of Sargent,Texas passed from this life on February 9, 2016 in Angleton. She was born in Jacksonville, Texas on May 10, 1943 to Jesse Brown and Dorothy Pauline Folks.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia at 11:00 am with Pastor B. J. McCurdy officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia. Serving as pallbearers are David Turner Jr., Casey Anderson, David Anderson Jr., Derek Barber, Cody Turner, Justin Anderson, Joshua Anderson, and Shelby Anderson.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, David Turner & wife, Brenda, Raymond Turner & wife, Lynette, Tammy Anderson & husband, David, Dorothy Anderson & husband, Norman, Alice Rogers, James & Rosie Mikeska, John & Suzanne Mikeska, and Jana Ramsey; brothers, Brady Pollock & wife, Patty, Edward Pollock & wife, Martha, William Pollock & wife, Madeline, and Roger Pollock; sisters, Carolyn Norcross & husband, Franky, Yvonne Pollock, and Johnnie Sue Brennan; grandchildren, David (Bear), Stacy, Jessica, Allison, Shelby, Casey, David, Justin, Joshua, Cody, Afton, Derek, Alysha, Lee, Danielle, Brian, Sara, Brandy, Brittany and Brandon; 9 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Mikeska; brother, Jimmy Pollock; and granddaughter, Lynn Turner.
