Dorothy Mimms

Dorothy Jane Stinnett Mimms, 76, of Sherman, Texas passed from this life on November 24, 2018 in Brazoria, Texas. Dorothy was born in Bay City, Texas to John A. and Jean Stinnett on July 18, 1942.
Funeral services will be held at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 2:00 pm with John Price officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until service time on Thursday. Burial will follow at Sweeny Cemetery.
Survivors are her sons, John Mimms Jr. and Frank W. Mimms & wife, Janna; grandchildren, Megan & Tiffany Mimms and Nicole & Jessica Mimms; sister, Debbie Ford & husband, Luther; aunt, Opal Campbell; 8 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, John H. Mimms.
Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
