Durenda Lynn Hall, 65, was granted her angel wings on November 8th 2015; her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in some small way throughout her very memorable life.
She was born June 16, 1950, in Cleveland, TX to Richard and Durene Perkins, graduated from West Columbia High School in 1969 and married Sonny Hall on September 12, 1970. She was a homemaker while her husband was an auto parts salesman.
Durenda is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Sonny Hall; sister, Judy Perkins of Arlington TX; her two sons and their spouses, Steven and Karen Hall of Sweeny; Rusty and Kelly Hall of Angleton, TX; 3 beautiful granddaughters, Melanie, Shelby and Kallie; an aunt, Patsy Denson Butler and her husband, Dan of Cleveland, TX; cousins, Brad Denson and his wife, Missy of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; and Danny Denson of Cleveland, TX; Brother-in law, Gillis Hall and his wife, Sandy of Sweeny, TX; 3 nieces, Mickie Williams of Bandera, TX; Amy Winningham and her husband, Lee of Brenham, TX and Katie Hall of Fort Worth, TX along with many great nieces, nephews and friends.
Her father, Richard Perkins; mother, Durene Stewart; and an uncle, Glenn Denson, precede her in death.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Sweeny, TX at 11:00 am with Pastors John Price and Steve Evans officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 13, 2015 at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia from 6:00pm-8:00pm.
