Edward Avery

Edward Wayne Avery, 79 of West Columbia passed away on May 27, 2016. He was born in Kosse, TX on October 3, 1936. He loved spending time with his family and fishing. He leaves to cherish his precious memories; his loving wife, Rose Avery of West Columbia; and all of his children; Marie Meadows of New Mexico; William Avery of Ohio and Marvin Avery of California; Rusty Avery of Pennsylvania and Shannon Avery of New Mexico; Marie Williams and husband, Jamie of West Columbia, Cody McElveen of West Columbia; Tim Strother and wife, Tiffany of Bay Town; Rose Marie Wasserman of Conroe; Dusty Strother and wife, KiKi of West Columbia and Jeremy Hutchings of Nocona. He has 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandson with lots of other loving family.

Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, two young sons, his brother and 3 sisters and his in-laws.

He was an outdoorsman in his younger years. Dad, Paw-paw, spread your wings and fly. We are all going to miss you. We loved you then, and we will love you until we all meet you again.
