Edward Giesie

Edward (Eddie) James Giesie, 66 of Brazoria, Texas passed away in Houston at Methodist Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, January 22, 2017. He was born on January 13, 1951 in Freeport, Texas to Carl John and Irene Mary (Wishert) Giesie.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Heritage Hall (508 E. Bernard) in West Columbia from 1:00pm until 4:00pm. There will be a visitation at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia from 10:00am until 11:00am on Saturday, January 28, 2017. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Jim Callihan, Bubba Wishert, Bobby Jones, Bobby Wishert, Phil Hathorn and Pat Kelly.

Edward is survived by son, Dain Giesie and wife, Miranda; daughter, Lori Giesie Damborsky and husband, Matt; grandchildren, Kynlee and Haidyn Giesie, Allie and Payton Damborsky; sisters, Patsy Hathorn and husband, Phil and Marilyn Spalek and husband, Larry along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Irene Giesie.
