Edward "Ed" Lee Losack, 64 of Missouri City, Texas formerly from Brazoria, Texas passed away peacefully Friday evening, August 14, 2015 after a lengthy illness. He was born September 11, 1950 in Richmond, Texas to Roy Edward and Annie Martha Mayer Losack. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict and was a gate keeper coordinating work between operations and maintenance departments at Dow Chemical. He was an avid fisherman and hunter; he loved watching NASCAR and old western movies. Memorial services will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Baker Funeral Home in Brazoria. Edward is survived by his wife of 26 years, Sandra Stanley of Missouri City; sons, Brandon Losack and wife, Jamie of Brazoria; Justin Losack of Sweeny; step-son, Theron Stanley and wife, Amanda of Austin; daughter, Lacy Kelley and husband, Aaron of Brazoria; step-daughter, Andrea Ortego of League City; grandchildren, Colby and Layne Losack; Jacob and Ethan Kelley; Addison and Charlotte Stanley; brother, Robert Losack and wife, Dale of Livingston; sisters, Edna Feagin of Angleton; Carol Moody and husband, Steve of Wimberley and Wanda Rush and husband, Skipper of Alvin; along with uncle Walter Mayer of Orchard and cousin, Clifford Kozik and wife, Helen of East Bernard and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Mary Ann Losack. The family would like to give a special thank you for all of the doctors, caregivers and friends for their thoughtfulness and support during this time. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Amed Hospice or charity of your choice.
