Elicio Ramirez Martinez

Elicio (Alice) Martinez, age 77, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, November 9th, joining Jesus and her firstborn daughter. She was born in Freeport, Texas on December 16, 1946, to Julio and Consuelo Ramirez. Alice was a devoted wife to Ruben Martinez Sr., with whom she recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. She was a dedicated mother to three children, a cherished Wela to five grandchildren, and a beloved great-Wela to six great-grandchildren. 

Alice was predeceased by her parents, Julio, and Consuelo Ramirez; her 1st born daughter, her brothers, Luis, Philomino, Alonzo, Antonio, and Adam; her sister, Lucy; and her sister-in-law, Josie Hernandez. She is survived by her daughter, Consuelo; her son, Ruben Jr., and his wife Laurie Martinez; her grandchildren, Sara and Dylan, Ty and Samantha, Maylei, Chelsea and Clint, and Julia and Efrain; and her great-grandchildren, Jolene and Rouxster, Jesse, Ashleigh, Remi, and Shannon. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family and friends will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
