Erma Wasek

Erma Leta Jones Wasek, 87, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2016. Erma was born on March 12, 1929 in Garrison, TX. Erma was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was member of the Brazoria Study Club for 56 years, and active in the First United Methodist Church Brazoria. Erma spent her life focusing on her family. Her children and grandchildren were truly her greatest joy.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Leo James Wasek.

She is survived by her sons Don (Daryn) Wasek and Kenneth (Janice) Wasek; daughter Tammie Wasek Ferguson; her six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will be10:00-11:00AM on Friday, October 7, 2016, at First United Methodist Church Brazoria. Funeral service will be 11:00AM on Friday, October 7, 2016, at First United Methodist Church Brazoria, 409 Lazy Lane.

Serving as pallbearers will be K. J. Wasek, Mitchell Wasek, Mason Ferguson, Byron Patterson, Daniel Trant and Jimmy Wayne Jones.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to the First United Methodist Church Brazoria in memory of Erma Wasek.
