Evelyn Liles

Evelyn Marie Liles, 78 of West Columbia, Texas passed away at her home on Saturday, August 8, 2015. She was the youngest of ten children and born on Christmas Eve 1936 to James Wyatt and Nellie (Chamblee) Ringgold in Angleton, Texas. She attended the Columbia United Methodist Church and the garden club. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 11:00 am at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia with Dr. Mike Deaton officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 am until service time. Burial will follow at Brazoria Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are her grandsons, Christopher Curry, Thomas Wyatt Liles Jr., Bryan Liles, Matthew Hines, Carter Liles, and Spencer Liles. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kathie Curry & husband, Derrell of Houston, Peggy Hines & husband, Jimmy of Deer Park; sons, Allan Liles & wife, Debra of Alvin, Tom Liles & wife, Cindy of Liberty, and Bobby Liles of Crosby; sister, Mattie Sue Ringgold of Bay City; grandchildren, Katie, Kylie, Christopher, Bryan, Tommy, Amber, Kim, Matthew, Lesli, Erin, Carter, & Spencer; great grandchildren, Hannah, Alix, Paige, Wyatt, Cora, Abigail, & two on the way and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Gayle Liles, her parents, along with her 4 sisters and 4 brothers. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Evelyn's name to the Salvation Army or the charity of your choice.
