Franci Gray

Franci Krenek Choate Gray, 83, of Manvel passed away in Alvin on May 23, 2016. She was born in Burkburnett, Texas to Leslie & Eula May Krenek on October 8, 1932. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Alvin, and a cosmetologist for many years.There were a few things that Franci was very proud of accomplishing in her life, she was a black belt in Karate, a model and a 18 wheel truck driver.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 2:00pm at Baker Funeral Home Chapel in West Columbia with Mark Mayberry officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 26, 2016 also at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers are Charles Choate, Trey Janak, Teri Krenek, David Krenek, Bob Burnside and Shane Krenek. Honorary pallbearers are Don Choate and Herb Janak.

Left to cherish her memory is her brothers, Robert Krenek and wife, Augustine; Lloyd Krenek and wife, Marie; Paul Krenek and wife, Susan; sisters, Nelda Janak and husband, Herb and Sandra Krenek Anderson; her daughters in law, Petina Pervin and Jan Hargrave; grandchildren, Charles Choate, George Pervin, Angela Pipkin and husband, Ryan, Don Choate and wife, Candee along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Charles Choate and Don Gray; son, Charles Choate, daughter, Charlotte Choate; great-grandson, Chance Choate and brother, Harold Krenek and sister, Carolyn Thornton.
