George Green

George William Green, 79, of Clute, formerly of Brazoria, Texas passed away Friday, July 15, 2022, in Lake Jackson, TX. He was born November 8, 1942, in Longview, Texas to the late Jessie Etta (Killion) and Doyle Green.

George served in the United States Army from 1961 until 1964. He was a Bailiff for Court 149 and a Juvenile Officer for Brazoria County. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Brazoria.

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Bonnie Green, daughter-in-law Melissa Green, brother Alvin Green, cousins Rae Wilkinson and Sandra Dryer, aunts Marie Wilkinson and Reba Thomas.

George is survived by his wife Linda Green, sons Vance Green and wife Cheryl and Lance Green, grandchildren Christina, Lane, James, Joseph, William, Kristal, Justin, and Devin, 10 great grandchildren, a niece, a nephew, and many cousins.

Funeral Mass for George will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 219 County Road 762, Brazoria, with Rev Tin Pham officiating.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday morning prior to the services.
