Goldie Powell Bertram

Goldie Powell Bertram, 89, of West Columbia, went to be with Our Lord on Friday, November 5, 2021. Goldie was born in West Columbia, Texas on September 10, 1932, to Rueben and Velma Powell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rueben and Velma Powell, her beloved husband Herman Charles Bertram, Sr., her son Tommy Bertram, her sister Hattie Sims, her brothers Cecil Powell, Kenneth Powell, and Rueben Powell.

Goldie was loved and will be greatly missed by her daughters Beth Bertram Evans and husband Gary, Patsy Bertram Freeman and husband Jimmy, and son Jimmy Bertram and wife Rene; sisters-in-law Vivian Powell, Yvonne Powell, and Sandra Powell; brother-in-law Glen Sims; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Yelderman Cemetery in Damon, Texas with Pastor Dennis Sims officiating.

Serving as pallbearers are Jim Powell, Dylan Bertram, Donnie Congdon, Russell Thompson, Davin Weaver and Chris Miller.
