Helen Cole

Helen Cole, 86 of Sweeny, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017. She was born June 19, 1930 in Manvel, Texas to Sam and Amabile (Scopel) Camazzola.

Helen retired from C B I S D where she worked for many years; was a member of Faith Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School; she loved her children and grandchildren and never missed any of their activities. Cooking and gardening were some of her favorite hobbies. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, February 13, 2017 at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia with Kenny James and Buddy Dudley officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 pm until service time. Burial will follow at Columbia Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are her grandsons, Jim Ed Cole, John Cole, Cody Cole, T-Ray White, Michael Cole, Cole Moody, and Dennis Moody.

Helen is survived by her sons, Larry Cole and wife, Laura; Richard Cole; Mike Cole and wife, Debbie; daughter, Linda Moody and husband, Karl; brother, Joe Camazzola; sisters, Lona Cole and Marie Henry; grandchildren, Jim Ed Cole; John Cole; Brandi Hargrave; Cody Cole; T-Ray White; Michael Cole; Mikki Cleveland; Cole Moody; and Dennis Moody; 13 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Cole; brother, Pete Camazzola, and sisters, Gena Murphy and Louise Hooper.

The family would like to give a special thanks to all her caregivers for their loving care.
