Helen Wilson

Helen Waydyne Wilson, 84, of West Columbia, passed from this life on Saturday, July 20, 2019 in Lafayette, Louisiana. She was born on November 18, 1934 in Stonewall, Oklahoma to Thurman and Geneva (Jetter) Jackson. Helen enjoyed working in the Walmart jewelry department for 20 years. She loved spending her time outside gardening, fishing, and spending time with her family.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 am Friday, July 26, 2019 at Columbia Cemetery with Ryan Lintelman officiating. The family will be receiving friends on Friday at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia from 9:00 am until 10:00 am.

Helen is survived by her son, Bruce Wilson and wife, Janet; daughter, Kelly Comeaux; brother, Jim Jackson and wife, Karen; sister, Pat Rozzell and husband, Donald; grandchildren, Ashlee Morgan, Jessica Dees, Stacey Thibodeaux, and Caleb O'Connor; great-grandchildren, Dominick Morgan, Jolie Thibodeaux, Charlotte Dees, Esme Thibodeaux, and Eve Dees; along with a her companion, her Yorkie, Prissy.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale Wilson; son, Craig Wilson; and brother, Doug Jackson.
