Henrietta Bennett

Henrietta Bennett, 94, of West Columbia passed from this life on Feb. 20, 2016 at her home. She was born in Weimar, Texas on Oct. 11, 1921 to Leopold and Emma Sohr.

Funeral services will be held on Wed. Feb 24, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia with Rev. Debbie Measells officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Lawn Haven of Rest in West Columbia. Visitation will be on Tues. Feb. 23, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers are Kenny Sohr, Darrell Sohr, Raymond Keszler, Gary Hanson, Clint Sohr, and Christopher Sohr.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter in law, Brenda Bennett; granddaughters, Stephanie Shoemaker and Laura Bennett; great grandchildren, Larz Shoemaker and Ethan Alexander; brother, Lawrence Sohr & wife, Gladys; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hurmet Bennett; sons, Alvin & Calvin Bennett; and granddaughter, Crystal Gayle Bennett.

The family wishes to give a special thank you to Mr. & Mrs. Charles Hoelewyn, Mr. & Mrs. H. T. Jones and Gina Scott for all the loving care they provided to Henrietta.
