Jackie Kruse

Jackie Kruse, 75, of Sweeny passed away on June 29, 2020 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Sugar Land. She was born on January 14, 1945 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Geneva and D. M. McCoy.

She loved to play card games and spend time with her pup, Sugar.

Jackie leaves to cherish her loving memories; her loving and devoted significant other, Darrell Whitt of West Columbia; children, Shannon Gay (Wendell), Cody Goodrum, and DeRay Goodrum (Jennifer); brother, Eugene McCoy; grandchildren, Stacy Davis (Steven), Kym Bagwell (Zach Jenkins), Kaylyn Gray (Trevor), Kandyce Harley (Jason), Aaron Harley (Heather), Josh Harley (Jenny), Whitney Harley (Johnathan Strickland), Joshua Gay (Joanna), Jon Gay (Crystal), Holly Gay, Cecila Gay, Dakota Goodrum, Cory Goodrum (Samantha Grossman), Brandi Goodrum (Norriece Parks), Dedreona Goodrum, and D’Laynna Goodrum;  27 great-grandchildren; best friends, James & Janette Lockhart, Virginia Hajdik and Gary & Crystal Bagwell; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Deonna Bagwell.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 3:30 pm at C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home in West Columbia. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 2:00 until service time. Burial will follow at Cedar Lawn Haven of Rest in West Columbia.
