Joshua Jacob Rodriquez, born on May 17, 1989, in Lake Jackson, Texas, passed away suddenly on August 19, 2024, in West Columbia, Texas. Joshua's love of life and his family was unending. He was a devoted carpenter, known for his exceptional skill and his passion for creating beautiful things. Among his greatest creations was a solid cedar bench, which has been described by his family as absolutely gorgeous.
Joshua was adored by his children—Adriel, Adaira, Olivia, Auora, Avery, and Violet—who were the center of his world. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for them, and his devotion as a father shone brightly. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures, including listening to music, which was an integral part of his daily routine. An avid supporter of the Dallas Cowboys, Joshua was often seen cheering on his favorite team with enthusiasm. His personality was further expressed through his love of tattoos, particularly those featuring Disney characters.
He is survived by his father, Jesus Rodriquez; four sisters, Elizabeth May and her husband Terry of Angleton, Deborah Heathcock and her husband Chris of Angleton, Jessica Fuller and her husband Chuck of West Columbia and Jenny Rodriquez and her husband Kristopher of West Columbia; his girlfriend, Delanie Ramsey; his beloved children and many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. Joshua was preceded in death by his cherished mother, Aurora Rodriquez, who he missed dearly.
