Jean Anne Kelley, 89 of Sweeny, Texas passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016 at her daughter's home in Richmond. She was born September 6, 1926 in Talco, Texas to James and Lou (Bowman) Morris. She was a bookkeeper for Norrell Construction for over 20 years.

Funeral services will be held 1:00pm, Saturday, April 16, 2016 at First United Methodist Church in Sweeny with Pastor Nancy Cobbs officiating. Burial will follow at Sweeny Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Cody Carlin, Ken Lightsey, Taylor Kelley, Zach Lightsey, Jason Gernand and Matt Martin.

Jean is survived by her son, John Dennis Kelley of Houston; daughters, Peggy Carlin and husband, Mike of Richmond; and Cheryl Kelley of Richmond; along with 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She is also survived by brother, Gerald Morris and wife, Kay of Mt. Pleasant, Tx.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Dennis H. Kelley, Jr. that passed in 1998; her daughter, Gloria Kelley and granddaughter, Kelley M. Barron; Step Mother, Opal Morris; along with her 3 brothers, Bill, Andy, and Darrell.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her memory.
