Jessie Sexton

Jessie Owen Sexton, 82, of Brazoria, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019. He was born on January 12, 1937 in Ganado, Texas to Aris and Emma (Sampson) Sexton.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Grace Baptist Church in Brazoria with Mark Brumbelow officiating. Visitation will be Friday, February 15, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Baker Funeral Home in Brazoria.

Jessie is survived by his wife, Barbara Sexton; sons, Randy Sexton and wife, Veronica, and Robert Sexton and wife, Paula; daughters, Sherry Sexton Casterline and husband, John, and Ronda Sexton; grandchildren, Amy, Trent, Ryan, Rachel, and Shelby; great-grandchildren, Jacy and Oceana; brother, Ray Sexton and wife, Peggy; sisters, Dora Lee Gulley and Alice Kirkland; along with 3 nieces and 5 nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, David Sexton; and brothers-in-law, John Gulley and Dean Kirkland.
