Jimmy Jochum

Jimmy "Big Yoke" Jochum, 51 of Sweeny, Texas passed away Friday, July 22, 2016. He was born December 31, 1964 in Walnut Creek, California to Kenneth and Jacquelyn (West) Jochum. He was a heavy equipment operator for Zachary. Jimmy loved his family more than you can imagine; he enjoyed time hunting with Lorissa, Seth and his good friend Billy Campbell. When he wasn't working he loved being a "cheer dad" and watching Kirby play soccer. He loved watching Seth on the field playing ball and made sure he was there when he could be. His motto in life : "Taking Care of Business" "TCB".

He is survived by his wife, Michelle Jochum; son, Seth Jochum; daughters, Lorissa and Kirby Phillips; father, Ken Jochum, mother, Jackie Russell McNeal; father and mother in law, Bob and Ruth DeMarco; brother-in-law, Scott DeMarco, Josh DeMarco and wife, Kim; nieces, Kinsley DeMarco, Paycen DeMarco, Holly Gay and Cecilia Gay. He is preceded in death by sister, Kim Gay and grandparents, James and Freda West along with Anthony and Betty
Jochum.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 29, 2016 at Baker Funeral Home from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

Memorial services will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, July 30, 2016 First Baptist Church in Sweeny with Pastor John Price officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Monty Boyd, Jeff Pierce, Billy Campbell, John David McBride, Jeff Ostendorf, Scott DeMarco, Josh DeMarco, and Mike Sanchez.
