Coleen Tullos a.k.a. Booger Red Hot Lips Tullos
went to be with her loved ones in Heaven Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Sweeny Hospital.
She was born in Sweeny, Texas to Myrtle and Morris Tullos. She is survived by her sisters Brenda Ashcraft and Karen Sheppard; two nephews John Barnard and Tracy Barnard; three special nieces Lacey June Sheppard Mcfatter, Amanda Sheppard, Deven Barnard and many more nephews and cousins.
Joyce, who was born with Down Syndrome and lived a full extraordinary life. She was a strong and optimistic woman with a beautiful soul full of love and laughter. She truly was an inspiration to everyone who had the opportunity to know her.
Growing up she was in many events such as water aerobics, dancing and the Special Olympics. She wore her metals proudly. She lived in a group home in Brenham, Texas for many years. Joyce worked at a state school in Lufkin, Texas for a baby nursery and at a workshop doing various jobs.
Her main passion was food. She especially liked Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. She loved her Momma very much and though over time things became blurry, the memory of her Mother never did.
Her family would like to thank everyone who loved and cared for her. She was a precious gift from the Lord. Joyce's spirit will forever live on in our hearts.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 12:30 to 2 PM. Services will proceed afterwards at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia.
Serving as pallbearers will be Monte Sheppard, Tracy Barnard, Bryan Barnard, Brian Mcfatter.
Honorary pallbearers will be Beau Barnard, Cody Barnard and Kevin Henry.
