Juan Sanchez

Juan Marcos Sanchez, 66 of West Columbia, Texas passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, January 1, 2016. He was born September 25, 1949 in Galveston, Texas to Marcos and Magdalena (Longoria) Sanchez. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather whom loved spending time with his family fishing, barbecuing at the church and he was especially proud of keeping the grounds at the church looking beautiful.

Memorial services will be held 11:00am, Friday, January 8, 2016 at Columbia United Methodist Church with Dr. Mike Deaton officiating.

Juan is survived by his wife, Patsy Rivera Sanchez of West Columbia; sons, Johnny Sanchez of Brazoria, Michael Sanchez of Memphis and James Sanchez of West Columbia; daughters, Lucinda Reynolds and husband, Darren of West Columbia, Cynthia Osburn of Freeport, Erica Sanchez of Victoria and Jessica Rodriguez of Angleton; brother, Paul Tristin and wife, Elma of Freeport, 15 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He is also survived by a special aunt, Angie Naranjo of Victoria who raised him after his parents passing. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his step-father, Guadalupe Tamez.
