Karl Robert Moody

Karl Robert Moody, a dedicated employee who spent over 30 years of his career at Chevron Phillips until his retirement on May 27, 2021, has left behind a legacy of hard work and genuine friendships. Karl was known for his exceptional work ethic, which led him to form lifelong bonds with colleagues during his time at the company. Born on April 23, 1962, in Ft. Worth, TX, Karl's journey came to a peaceful end at the ranch on June 28, 2024, in Sweeny, TX. His life was filled with love, laughter, especially when he was surrounded by his beloved family and grandchildren. Karl found pure joy in their presence - they were indeed his pride and joy.

 Apart from his career achievements, Karl had a variety of hobbies and interests that brought excitement to his life. From hunting to fishing and indulging in drag racing & mud racing during his younger years, Karl had a zest for adventure that was truly inspiring.

 Karl is survived by his devoted wife of 39 years, Linda (Cole) Moody; his sons Cole Moody (and wife Samantha) and Dennis Moody (and wife Brooklyn); his cherished grandchildren Paisley, Darcie, Heidi, Maverick & Kase; his mother Sandra (Bednarz) Moody; his sister Theresa Wishert; his brother Dennis Moody (and wife Laverne); along with numerous nieces and nephews.

 Relatives and friends are invited to a gathering of remembrance on Friday July 5th from 10-11 a.m. at C.T. Baker Funeral Home 634 S. Columbia Dr. West Columbia. His memorial service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Buddy Dudley officiating.

 Rest in peace, Karl Robert Moody - a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. Your memory will forever be etched in our hearts.
