Kathleen Flash

Kathleen Ann Flash "Katie", 32, of Sweeny was given her angel wings on October 13, 2015. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Katie had touched in her short, yet memorable life.

Katie was born on February 3, 1983 in Covington, LA, the daughter of Mark Flash Jr. and Mary Cook. Katie lived life to the fullest whether she was with friends, family or complete strangers she wore the smile and positive attitude that so many of us wish we had. Katie's face glowed when she spoke of her son Hunter who gave her the biggest joys in life. Katie loved to sing, dance, enjoy her family and help others in any way possible. In life, Katie would give you the shirt off her back when you were in need and in death she would leave a stranger with another chance at life through organ donation.

Katie is Survived by: Son Hunter Flash, Mother Mary Cook and husband Steve Cook, Father Mark Flash Jr, and wife Cindy Flash, Sisters Tiffany Dilocker and husband Kevin Dilocker, Liz Flash, Jana Clay and Husband Cody Clay, Staceyann Williams and Brother Joseph Flash and Theresa Flash, Daniel Williams, Reese Cook and wife Ferol Cook, Colton Cook and wife Eva Cook. Grandfather Mark Flash Sr. and Grandmother Joyce Ashford. Nieces Haley, Chloe, Jovie, Mckenzie, and nephews Jonathan, Ethan, Oliver, Thomas, Caleb & Hayden. Many Aunts and Uncles

Katie is Preceded in death by: Daughter Kora Flash, Grandfather Homer Ashford, Grandmother Kathleen Flash, step grandfather, W.K. Clark.

A viewing will be held on Saturday October 17, 2015 from 1pm-3pm at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia, TX and services will be immediately following at 3PM. Family is asking that all wear her favorite color Purple in memory of Katie.....
