Lamont "Monty" Herbert Bradley

Lamont "Monty" Herbert Bradley, known affectionately as Monty by all who knew him, has passed away on April 19, 2024, in Houston, TX. He was born on December 19, 1950, in El Dorado, KS, to the late Geraldine (Summers) and Lonnie Bradley.

Monty was born in Kansas, but was raised in Oklahoma. After, he moved to Jones Creek, TX.  Monty, a dedicated electrician, worked diligently at Dow Chemical. During his remarkable career, spanning 38 years, he left a lasting impact on his colleagues and the company itself.

Monty's interests were varied, but he especially enjoyed antiquing and collecting coins. However, his greatest joy in life was his grandchildren. He would often go to great lengths, even driving for hours, just to have lunch with them at their schools.

Monty is survived by his loving children Lonnie Bradley and his wife Sharon of Waco, TX, Michele Bradley of Sweeny, TX and Coby Bradley and his wife Lorena of Brazoria, TX. He is also survived by his Siblings Sharon Wilcox and her husband Roy, & Glenda Moser of Oklahoma and Coleen Collier and her husband Mike of Mesquite, TX

Monty also leaves behind a legacy through his cherished grandchildren: Bishop and wife Josie, Lanie and fiancé Isaiah, Jarod, Emerson, Ady, River, Emiliano, Brady & Toby; as well as great-grandchildren: Alaina, Khloe, Korbyn & Kingston.

A visitation will be held on April 26, 2024at C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home in West Columbia from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. This will be followed by a Funeral Service at the same location from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. The Graveside Service will take place on Sunday April 28th at Sterling Cemetery in Sterling, Ok from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.

In honoring the life of Lamont "Monty" Herbert Bradley we remember a loving and dedicated family man and professional whose presence will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
