Laura Gray

Laura Frances Gray, 82, of West Columbia, passed away on July 31, 2016 at her home. She was born to Robert and Laura Myrtle Hopper on March 2, 1934 in Mexia, Texas. Frances moved to West Columbia her junior year and was a graduate of West Columbia High School. She was employed for 26 years at Phillips Petroleum and 10 years for the Brazoria County Library System.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016 at 10:00 am at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia with Danny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Lawn Haven of Rest. Serving as pallbearers are James Crisp, Buzzy Rose, Tony Rose, Blake Rose, Larry Rose and Randall Taylor. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, Aug. 5, 2016 also at the funeral home.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Richard & Mark Gray. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Bobby Charles Gray.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to CEMS in West Columbia.
