Dr. Leo Thomas Chretien, a beloved doctor, pharmacist, devoted husband, and caring father, passed away on September 23,2024, in Brazoria, Texas, at the age of 62. Born on December 14, 1961, in Newport, Rhode Island, He earned his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Leo dedicated his life to the practice of medicine and the well-being of his patients. He worked as a Doctor of Internal Medicine and ER in Lake Jackson, Texas, where he was known for his commitment to helping and caring for others, leaving a lasting impact on those he served.

 

In addition to his medical career, Leo was an avid fan of Star Trek, often enjoying the adventures of the crew with his family. His love for sports extended to cheering for the Houston Astros and the Patriots, bringing excitement and joy during game days. Leo's passion for life and his various interests contributed to a rich and fulfilling existence. He also loved all his animals especially his cats. 

 

Leo is survived by his mother, Margaret Chretien; his wife, Felicia (Garcia) Chretien; and his children: sons Matthew Villegas (Krystle) of Brazoria, Mason Villegas of League City, and Marcus Villegas (Brittany) of Lake Jackson; daughters Lynzie Autry (Tyler) of Angleton and Chelsea Chretien (Dezmond) of Brazoria. Additionally, he cherished the time spent with his many grandchildren: Dominique, Blaise, Manuel, Angel, Annika, Shelby, Felix, and D.J.

 

Preceding him in death were his father, Norbert Chretien, and his brother, Christopher Chretien. The void left by Leo's passing will be profoundly felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

 

A memorial service honoring Leo will be held on September 26, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home located at 634 S Columbia Dr, West Columbia, TX 77486. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Leo are welcome to join in celebrating his remarkable life and the memories that will forever remain in their hearts.
