Linda Fabrygel

Linda Joyce Fabrygel, 67 of West Columbia, Texas passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015 in Houston. She was born March 22, 1948 in Rockdale, Texas to William Howard and Elizabeth (Streicher) Oakes.

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia with Pastor David Catoe officiating. Burial will follow at Yelderman Cemetery in Damon. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00pm until 7:00pm also at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Shawn Oakes, Bryan Oakes, Adam Smith, Snoopy Long, Bart Fabrygel and Franklin Fabrygel. Honorary pallbearers will be Brent Batchelor and Darrin Batchelor.

Linda is survived by her husband Joe of West Columbia; son, Jody Fabrygel of West Columbia; daughter, Amy Watts and husband, Jason of Port Lavaca; grandchildren, Jacob and Justin Watts; sisters, Frances Chavers of Danbury; Sissy Long and husband, Milton and Sue Batchelor and husband, Lorrin all of Damon; Lillie Mae Smith of Brazoria and Gail Farmer of Georgia along with numerous nieces and nephews and her good friend, Iris White.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, JoAnn Oakes and Teddy Elaine Oakes and brothers, William Howard Oakes Jr. and Joe David Oakes.
