Luther Ford Jr.

Luther Wesley Ford, Jr., (Papa Lou) 77, of Brazoria, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

Luther was born in Crisfield, Maryland on August 13, 1943 to the late Catherine (Bowe) Ford Rease and Luther Wesley Ford, Sr.

Luther enjoyed drag racing, mud racing, boat racing, building transmissions, fishing, but most of all he loved spoiling his grandchildren.

Luther was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 ½ years, Debbie Ford; children William “Bill” Wesley Ford, Chrissie Ford, Jason Ford and Stacey Brenek; grandchildren Crystal Costa, Angela Raza, Christopher Garner, Riley Brenek, Anna Brenek and Emma Brenek; sister Janet Simmons; brothers Douglas Ford and Bob Rease.

A visitation with friends and loved ones will be Friday, July 2, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at C. T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home in West Columbia, Texas with funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow in Sweeny Cemetery.
