Margaret Ham

Celebration of Life for Margaret Marie Ham, 71 of Brazoria, Texas who passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016 will be held 11:00am, Thursday, March 24, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Tin Pham officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 5:00pm until 7:00pm with a rosary being recited at 7:00pm at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 219 CR 762, Brazoria, Texas 77422.

Margaret was born July 19, 1944 in Freeport, Texas to Thomas Joseph and Lillian (Bezecny) Christiansen. She is survived by her daughter, Tammi Ham McCall and husband, Jimbo; grandchildren, Kalor West and wife, Kaysea; Falyn Foster, Jace McCall, and Angelique Riley; great-grandchildren, Karter and Kam West; and Dominique Riley; along with sisters, Loyce Hutson and husband, Ealy; Martha Carr and husband, Ed. She is also survived by special nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Ham and son, Thomas Ham.
Thank you, God, for the life of Margaret. Through her years of employment, Margaret's devotion of her love towards others brought her great joy. She was a graduate of Houston Business College and was a sister of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority. She was a lifetime member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and also a member of the altar society. She also enjoyed numerous other activities and memberships as well, including: Brazoria Dance Club, the local bowling league, Brazoria County Fair Association, and she also enjoyed playing BINGO; wherever they had a game.

Margaret was an amazing mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Many were blessed to share her humble heart, laughter, her fun and playful personality, and the helping hand or life teachings she extended to others without ever expecting anything in return; most of all, through the unconditional love she shared with everyone she met, I pray that her legacy will continue to live on and touch the lives of everyone that knew her.
