Mary Hewitt

Mary Ann (Turner) Hewitt, 80 of West Columbia, Texas passed away Friday, November 06, 2015. She was born April 14, 1935 in McCoysburg, Indiana to Albert and Emma (Smothers) Turner.

She is survived by sons, Ronald Steigely and wife, Nancy of LaPorte; Charles Hewitt and wife, Angelia of Katy; Vincent Hewitt and wife, Carolyn of Romeoville, IL; DC Hewitt and wife, Seda of Istanbul, Turkey; daughters, Dawn Lynne Deinema and husband, Edward of Kerrville; Deena Hewitt Astrello of Spring; Robin Steigely Redel and husband, Chad of Porter; Sunny Hewitt Goheen and husband, Harold of Lakeland, FL and Barbara Hewitt Resler and husband, Michael of Tigard, OR; along with 21 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and other family members. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Charles Hewitt that passed on 9/5/1997.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to local food banks, meals on wheels, local libraries, or if time permits, volunteer at a local nursing home.
