Michaela Elizabeth Jeffries

Michaela Elizabeth Jeffries of Sweeny blessed this world with her presence on February 6, 1996, and gained her halo and angel wings on November 15, 2024.

All that truly knew her described her as "one in a million." Michaela attended Sweeny High School, where she danced her heart out under Friday night light supporting the Fightin Bulldogs. Michaela attended Brazosport College, where she received her degree in Criminal Justice. She began working at the Brazoria County Juvenile Justice Department and instantly started making huge impacts on the lives of our troubled youth. When leaving juvenile, Michaela began working at the Kid's Academy Day Care in West Columbia, where she continued to make an impact.

Michaela touched the lives of many, not even knowing she was doing so. Michaela was a daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, niece, cousin, friend, and most importantly a momma. Michaela loved her son Coulter Bass with everything she had.

Michaela is survived by her son Coulter Bass, her parents Allen & Paula Jeffries (Sweeny), Brother & Sister-in-Law Johnathen and Chelsea Jeffries (Sweeny) nephew, and best buddy, Luke Jeffries (Sweeny) &nieces Payten and Jolene Jeffries (Damon) and Chloe Jeffries (Sweeny)and many more family and friends.

 She is proceeded in death by many great people. The ones I know she was the most excited to see were her Papaw Jeff and her Uncle Jason, who were there at the gates to place her halo and ensure her wings were straight.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday November 30th from 10-11:30 a.m. at C.T. Baker Funeral Home 634 S. Columbia Dr. West Columbia. Her funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. with Jaime Hill officiating. Interment to follow at Sweeny Cemetery.
