Oscar Guerrero

Oscar Guerrero, 76 of Richwood, Texas passed away Monday, February 29, 2016 at his home in Richwood, Texas surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 17, 1939 in Luling, Texas to Alfredo and Maria Lopez Guerrero. He worked for HEB in the produce department and served in the National Guard.

Funeral services will be held 4:00pm, Friday, March 4, 2016 at Shady Oaks Assembly of God Church in Lake Jackson with Pastor Rick Helguero officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday evening at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Graveside services will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Luling Catholic Cemetery in Luling, Texas. Serving as pallbearers will be David Guerrero, Armando Garcia, Jr. , Alex Enamorado and Edward Enamorado.

Oscar is survived by his wife, Pilar Blanca Guerrero of Richwood; son, David Guerrero and wife, Rosa of Houston; daughters, Yvonne Alvarez of Houston and Gabrielle Garcia Guerrero; brothers, Gilbert Guerrero of Luling and Alfredo Guerrero of San Antonio; sisters, Pauline Espinoza and husband, Johnny of Gonzalez; Alice Sanchez of Austin and Mary Ann Montalvo of Luling; along with 7 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Osvaldo, Armando, Arnulfo and Antonio Guerrero.
