Patsy Ann Mason

May 11, 1937 — July 5, 2024

Brazoria, Texas

It is with great sadness that we lost our beautiful Momma on July 5th, 2024. She was a wife, mother, Nanny and Great Grandmother. Patsy Hubbard Mason was born to Pat and Ethma Bock Hubbard on May 11, 1937. She lived all her life in Bay City, Texas and went to school and fell in love when she was 16 years old and married the love of her life, Barney Mason. They had two children born which was a son, Barney Mason, Jr., whom she loved so dearly and her daughter, Patti Kapalski, who was her caregiver for the last 10 years and was blessed to be holding her hand when she passed. She loved all her family with all her heart.

She worked at many jobs to help the family, because back then my father always said, you become a police man for the love of the job, not the money. She worked for Brady’s Flower Shop for many years and then purchased Modern Dry Cleaners and owned for 26 years till she longer could do the hard and hot work. She was also a caregiver to her mom and dad and her mother and father-in-law till their passing.

It is time for you to go to rest and you will always have a place in our hearts. Your crown jewels are waiting for you in heaven.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Barry Mason, her mom and dad, and her brother James Hubbard. She is survived by her son, Barney Mason Jr. (Sandra) and daughter, Patti Kapalski (Charles), her 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and her sister-in-law, Linda Hubbard and 3 nieces.

As per our mom’s request, she did not want any service held and will be laid to rest with her husband. Rest in peace Momma.
