Paulette Cosby

Paulette Clayton Cosby, 73 of West Columbia, Texas passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Rio Mainland Center in Texas City. She was born January 6, 1943 in Wharton, Texas to Paul Henry and Georgia (Ellisor) Clayton.

Funeral services will be held 12:00pm, Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia with Pastor Scott McKay officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Rosenberg at 2:00pm. Visitation will be Tuesday morning beginning at 11:00am until service time. Serving as pallbearers will be Paul Kevin Clayton, Darren Clayton, Collin Clayton, Charles Clayton, Kirk Schwartz and Matt Gubbels.

Paulette is survived by her son, Chad Cosby and wife, Eladia of Woodbridge, Virginia; grandchildren, Haley and Zachary Backus and another grandson, Isaac Lee Cosby due in July; brothers, Bill Clayton and wife, Vickie of San Antonio; Paul Henry Clayton, Jr. and wife, Paulette of Round Rock and George Clayton and wife, Barbara of West Columbia; sister, Molly Krolczyk of Santa Fe; along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and her daughter, Carmen Backus and her brother, Charles Ray Clayton.
