Ramiro Escobar

Ramiro Ray Escobar passed away September 6, 2016. He was born on February 2, 1996 in Victoria, Texas. Ramiro attended Columbia Brazoria High School and was in the Roughneck band, captain of drum line in 2013. He had a love for games and country music. Ramiro touched many lives and made many lifelong friendships. He had a friendly smile that warmed you heart and made you laugh with his goofy humor.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm, Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia with Pastor Harold Williams officiating. Visitation will be Friday, September 9, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm also at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Khosla, Christian Douglas, Clemente Saenz, Travis Waters, Andy Franco and Jordan Coburn.

Ramiro Ray Escobar is survived by his father, Ramiro Escobar; mother, Catalina Villanueva; brother, Juan Escobar; sister, Celia Escobar; two nephews, Xavier Cantu, and Michael Escobar; niece, Rosslynn Escobar; one great nephew and one great niece; grandmother, Celia Key; aunts, Jeanelle Key, Jeanne Key, Drianne Rodriguez, Rosa Aranda, Deanne Resendez, and Mary Garcia; uncles, Robert Morales, Danny Morales, Martin Morales, Jr., and Raymond Escobar, Jr.; along with many cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Angelita Escobar; grandfather, Raymond Escobar; and great-grandmother, Catarina Ocanas; grandparents, Marin and Mary Morales; uncle Fredrick Escobar, Sr.; and cousin, Fredrick Escobar, Jr.
