Richard Gray

Richard Charles “Rick” Gray, 68, of West Columbia, Texas, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022, at his residence. Rick was born March 12, 1954, in Bay City, Texas to the late Laura Frances (Hopper) and Bobby Charles Gray.

After graduating from high school, Rick went to work for the Columbia Lakes Golf Course for sixteen years and then went on to work at the West Columbia Wal-Mart for 25 years. Rick received his 25-year service award from AA and a 32-year service pin from AA.

He was preceded in death by his parents Bobby and Laura Gray.

Rick is survived by his brother Mark Gray, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home, 634 S. Columbia Dr., West Columbia, Texas.

Graveside services and interment will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Cedar Lawn Haven of Rest Cemetery in West Columbia, Texas with Rev. Paul Wehner officiating.
